About Us

Hi, my name is Sensei Chris Feldt and I am the executive director of The Samurai Foundation.  Thank you for visiting our website.

I am passionate about serving my community and helping both children and adults develop life skills that keep them safer as they attend school or travel about our community, as well as work on character skills such as courage, confidence, self discipline and respect.

The primary function of this foundation, is to expand the scope and breath of the work I do in Richland School District 2, as well as the neighborhoods that surround my karate school.

This foundation is focused on "all things self defense" -- not just kicking and punching!

The Samurai Foundation will support:

Karate scholarships for disadvantaged children and adults
Further develop a special needs program for children on the Autism Spectrum
Support FREE community workshops for stranger danger, anti-bullying and self defense
Support one on one private training for domestic violence survivors
Provide Diabetes awareness training
Provide Healthy Eating training
Provide Environmental Self Defense training
Promote Peace Education through Acts of Kindness
Develop project based leadership training through community service projects
